Very nice, vintage hotel just a short drive from gondola. Very nice staff. Great view to the valley. It is possible to have gourmet dinner. We even got some coupons on the reception for free drinks and snacks in the bar on top of gondola. Just a few 100 meters away there is a great view point to the Etna top craters (we were very lucky to see a big outburts right on the night we were staying there, amazing.) Etna, even without active outburts is a must visit site when you are on Sicily and we recomend this hotel.

Even though the restaurant was closed, they cooked me a dinner anyway. And the next day, they gave me a ride to my destination even if it only was a 10 min walk, just because they thought I might be late (I was not, just right on time). This place should be at least 4 stars hotel
