Popular small mountain resort.
Popular small mountain resort. Several small waterfalls in the area and accessible in different ways. Open top jeeps are popular, but it can be done walking as well (10 km round trip). There are plenty restaurants (and shops) in the centre, but it is a little crowded. Penedo is about 30 min drive from Itatiaia national park where there are there more hiking possibilities.
