Stay away from the main town part if you want some quiet. It's over commercialized, and touristy. The resorts are overpriced for their services and amenities. However we loved Long Beach. It was a beautiful beach. If you like tea, I recommend you bring it from home. It's very hard to find good black tea in Thailand. When I stepped off the ferry, I was in absolutely awe, and immediately fell in love. It's a beautiful, small island, still packed with bars, restaurants and shops. I only stayed one night and I think 2 nights would have been enough. I did the phi phi viewpoint hike, which was killer, especially in the heat. It did get crowded for sunset, so grab your pictures before the crowd arrives. You can walk everywhere, no transport on the island as not needed. I ate at the pirate bar/restaurant, great beach view seating. I also ate at a little cafe near my accommodation, but can't remember the name......Guest review byLacyAustralia - 8.0

Loved Phi Phi Don, lots of bars, restaurants and shops to keep you busy. Good nightlife and good food. We mainly stayed in the centre as only there for two nights. People were lovely, beautiful views and great beaches. We did a boat trip to monkey rock which was brilliant, blue lagoon, saw Viking cave and went snorkelling. It is very centrally located in Koh Phi Phi main island, very close to the main restaurants/bars (but enough distance so that you dont hear any noise from the street), supermarkets and atractions of the city center. The hotel is clean and all the staff is composed by very nice and helpful people. We did not select the option to have breakfast included.
