We loved your stay at Billy's a lot! The view from our villa was out of this world, first the pool and then a view to the ricefiels and mountains, it just looked a Balinese painting, no buildings, fantastic! The staff here is so friendly and polite, really working so hard to keep the place clean! Bed was very comfortable, good scooterrental. Very nice places to visit in the area and Billy's restaurants was also good for dinner!

Wow! Incredible—what a serene, high touch 2 days we spent here. Highly recommend if you want a taste of unspoilt Bali, a bit off the beaten track, with delicious home style authentic Balinese cuisine. Juli (who grew up in the area) the owner and operator took care of us like we were family, she showed us around, told us all about local culture, and she does wonderful things like adopting local dogs and cats and nursing them back to health, and also supports the local folks. Be aware that it’s a bit hard to get to but if you’re ok with immersing yourself in a riverside natural retreat this is for you. Her staff are 10/10 so nice and sweet and so so helpful—they even drove 20 minutes to pick up my favorite Indonesian dessert that I had trouble finding on my own. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have been to Bali many times and this was definitely one of the top places I have stayed. The setting is amazing, beautiful garden, great seating area overlooking the small pool and river. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you need to do your own cooking. A five minute walk takes you into Desa Tua where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, tofu and tempe. There is also a mini mart with any other supplies you need. The bedroom/living area is very comfortable and the bathroom is big and clean. The owners have done all they can to make your stay comfortable - things like a small first aid kit, a speaker you can connect your phone to, scissors, a torch - they have thought of almost everything. Wayan is a friendly host and can organise a motorbike - there a few beautiful waterfalls in the area - and can help you with onward transport. The place offers a peacefulness that is getting harder and harder to fins in Bali.

Everything! The staff were so friendly and helpful, they supplied us with bug spray as there were quite a few due to it being in the middle of rice fields. The breakfast was tasty and the room was very comfortable. Would definitely go back again next time we are in Ubud!

We loved watching the butterfly’s in the lush garden and swimming in the natural pool. The location was the perfect retreat from the busy centre of Ubud, but still easy to get transport. I would highly recommend getting a massage in the villa, the therapists were fantastic.

A great experience with stunning sunset view. The second time in Bali, to celebrate anniversary. We have previously stayed in other resorts in Bali, and the experience in this boutique hotel is as good as any of the top-tiers that we have stayed in. You could feel that the hotel team sincerely wants to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one. They take note of every detail that you like, e.g the fruit you prefer, the coffee, the tea, and always there to help. Shoutout to the personal butler Agung who is very nice and always helpful. The hotel is also new, so all the facilities are easy to use which was a problem for some other older resorts in Bali. This is a great place to stay with a vacation mindset - could do some tour in Ubud or nearby during the day, and enjoy the sunset view to wrap up the day.
