Very comfy bed and clean fresh linen and towels. Hot shower. Plenty of crockery, pans, utensils, toaster, air fryer and coffee machine. Fabulous aircon! Great location! The bus to the Firenze station stops just left of the property and over the road.

Very cute apartment, well equiped and great location to visit Florencia. Short distance to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Galeria Uffizi and 5min walk to the train station. Paolo is a great host, welcomed us on arrival, shared some best places to see and walks to do, map and travel guides available in the apartment. Thank you again Paolo! Useful info: although the Tourist Tax (5.50€ x person x day) is included in the total price to pay (booking details), Booking didn't charge us the tax. Paid directly to the host on arrival.

My family had a wonderful time here. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was also comfortable, and we slept well until morning. A really comfortable house for 4 people. The aircon was fantastic. The bottles of water left in the fridge were a very welcome gift. The shower was comfortable The bed was spacious & comfortable. It was very quiet considering how close to the airport we were. The neighbourhood was quiet.

The house is beautiful and very well appointed. We particularly loved the garden and pool which is where we spent most of our time. The location is great for exploring Florence but also being away from the hustle and bustle. We loved the host’s recommendations for restaurants particularly near Porta Roma where is much easier to park and then walk into central Florence. Communication was easy and the hosts couldn’t have done more for us.

Our stay in Villa Lia (1st floor apartment) was very good. It was large and all bedrooms had plenty of space. The rooms we used had ensuite facilities, and all are air conditioned (which was still much needed in September). Barbara, our host, was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions that we had. The entry gate and door codes are sent to you on the day via WhatsApp. Note the gate entry is at 17 not 19, and the door to the first floor is round to the right of the building. There is a lovely café just up the road by the traffic lights (Bar Gianno) where we went for breakfast each day. You can then either walk down the hill into Florence, or carry on past the café (about 75m) to the number 11 bus stop, which takes you into central Florence. Bus tickets can be bought in the café and you need to stamp them in the machine on the bus when you get on. We usually caught the bus back as it's slightly uphill. There are several restaurants within walking distance, or numerous back in the centre. We would highly recommend Villa Lia for those who don't want to be right in the middle of the City, but within comfortable walking distance.
