Raj was a fantastic host. We were there for three nights, and were made to feel very much at home. The room was very comfortable and had a nice terrace. The garden was peaceful and very private, which was perfect for sunbathing and relaxing without worrying about “dress code”. It was a relaxing and homely environment. We had a very nice breakfast each morning, and in the evenings Raj made some delicious curries with fresh local ingredients. Wadduwa is not a touristy place, which we liked. It is located on the train line between Colombo and Galle, with both easily reachable.

Our stay at this hotel was unforgettable for our family. Beautiful surroundings, excellent cuisine, peace and quiet. The staff of this establishment is impeccable, always smiling and kind. The chefs who really appealed to us were the ones who were willing to fulfill whatever we could think of, always interested in how we liked it. But the one who really became our hearts was our butler Manju.. not only did he take great care of us, but he was always available to us, no matter what we needed. He was not just a butler for us, but also a friend and always smiling friend of our children. Manju takes his job very seriously and tries to do his best for his guests. On behalf of our entire family, we would like to thank all the employees of this hotel, including the ladies at the reception, the gardeners and the boys who looked after us and cleaned the room, and last but not least the lifeguards. Thank you.

We had a stay of one night after our stay at the other villa of Shameera. Also this Villa is a great place to be, really fantastic. Once again, the host Shameera is a wonderful guy. He is so kind and polite, he helped with everything. eg giving some really good hints, what to do and what kind of activities are good to join. It's a wonderful place for a small group of family and friends to spend time. The staff, Ruwan and Cyril are so helpful and go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. Ruwan took us to town on his tuk whenever we needed it and also helped us with picking good restaurants and a boat ride. The kids loved the pool! We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate the effort the guys put into making our stay as comfortable as possible.
