It was our wedding anniversary on the first night. The room was decorated accordingly by Penny, and we were even offered a bottle of wine. The entrance has been renovated and looks even better than the photos. The pool is kept clean and is really nice for a nightly swim. Penny was very helpful and answered all our questions and even asked if we needed help with anything else such us a taxi to the ferry etc. The chalet is clean and the AC is working well. The location is super calm except on saturday nights where a neighbour blasted some music but that didn't bother us. We really didn't encounter construction noise since we left early in the morning and came back at 6pm. The chalet is also super close to groceries, take aways and Anse source d'argent while still being placed in a calm area. You can bike around all of La Digue in no time. Would stay here again if we come back.

Marva and his husband were really friendly. They advised a lot about the activities on the island. House very clean and confortable. Nice location close with bike to the village and Anse Source d'Argent, the best beach we have never seen.

That chalet feels homey. It's a rare feature. I guess it's the disposition of the rooms, or maybe some pieces of art that lift the place, or that step in front of the house (the house is build on a base) where you can sit and feel like the whole house is behind you. Maybe the bar that separates the kitchen, or the low couch on the right. The beautiful garden, the outside shower just where it should be. Whichever, it was felt like a home. And the owner, Selby, is a poet :-).

The best is the location, just crossing the street you found the sea. Also the garden Were you park the bikes is very nice too. It’s a two storages building, 4 villas ground floor and 4 other above, but you never feel crowded, which is great. For me is the best area to stay in la Digue because you are in an amazing beach, were we had amazing snorkeling sessions, and you also have lots of really nice beach bars (cocktails and natural juices, and some food also). Very close to the port too. They picked up from the ferry (10€/room) and the rent their bikes there too, which is the best way to move around the island. The best restaurants and takeaways are also close, so it’s also nice to bring some food and eat at terrace. Very comfy bed too!
