We absolutely loved our stay in the Red Caboose! What a treat to sleep in a beautifully restored train – everything was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared. The wood for the fire was ready and waiting, which made it extra cozy. The host was extremely communicative and responsive, making our stay effortless. My husband is a train enthusiast and this was truly a dream experience for him. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway! Lovely spacious old-style cottage. Comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen area, very nice bathroom. Access to private backyard area. Safe off-street parking and a lovely mountain view from the front yard. The host was brilliant! Friendly, approachable and helpful. She made us feel right at home from the offset and shared her local knowledge which helped us a lot during our stay. We will definitely stay at Krom Cottage again next time we're in Montague.

Absolutely clean, so much attention to detail. The dog loved running free in the fenced yard. Comfy bed. It was a very cold night, but lit a fire in the fireplace with wood, so thoughtfully provided. Can't wait to come back in summer and stay longer! Thanks, Rex.

Absolutely everything. A beautifully appointed home away from home with outstanding attention to detail, exquisite views and stunning garden.
