We absolutely loved our stay in the Red Caboose! What a treat to sleep in a beautifully restored train – everything was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared. The wood for the fire was ready and waiting, which made it extra cozy. The host was extremely communicative and responsive, making our stay effortless. My husband is a train enthusiast and this was truly a dream experience for him. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway! Extremely clean and comfortable. Very nicely equipped and guests are spoilt with rusks and muesli with their tea and coffee. TV and WiFi available and a bookshelf with some super books in. A gas heater and fan are also available and kitchen is nicely equipped. Cottage is nice and close to town - within walking distance. The cottage has a lovely private garden with table and chairs outside. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and highly recommend it.

The accommodation was really amazing. We were welcomed by the host personally and he provided us with all the information we needed. There were folders in the living room with many activities you can do in that area. The rooms were really clean and decorated nicely. From the pool you have an awesome view of the mountains.

Beautifully designed, extremely comfortable and well equipped house. The view was great from the house and the pool. Easy walk into Montegu. Owner Martin is helpful and charming . They live at bottom end of the very pretty garden but are discreet and unobtrusive . We were impressed at how much was provided for our comfort, coffee pods , quality shower products, loads of ice, a well stocked ‘honesty bar’, starter pack of groceries etc etc, The photos don’t do justice to this lovely place. The outdoor showers are wonderful (as are the indoor ones) and both bedrooms are equally well appointed so ideal for 2 couples travelling together. Highly recommended
