Just know you'll need to stock up on groceries before you arrive as it's a bit of a drive to the store. We appreciated the owners quick response to messages.

She allowed us a couple hours early check in and late checkout. The house itself was very spacious, well furnished and you could tell that the host took a lot of effort to provide all the amenities. It is right in the middle of the rainforest and everything felt really thoughtful - kind of like the old days of Airbnb! The wraparound deck was beautiful, and there are so many places to sit, hang out, and take in the nature. There were lots of great touches - a basket full of insect stuff, toiletries, cooking bits, towels left out for the outdoor bath, washing supplies, record player, games, books about the birds, binoculars; the list could go on! Ray was a pleasure to communicate with. Getting in was super easy, and the location is good for getting around the Daintree along the main roads. When I am back in grey London I will try and transport myself back here!

It was extremely clean, comfortable and well appointed, Gigi and Andrea had thought of everything! Such a beautiful view and central to both The Daintree and The Great Barrier Reef. The perfect place to relax after a day of exploring this beautiful area!

Especially arriving after a long trip from NL it is the best place to relax , unwind and get used the the Australian rhythm … the house is secluded , you are right in the tropical jungle but very close to cow beach , which next to cape tribulation is the best beach in Daintree ( go there for breakfast sunrise….) Furthermore the house offers you everything you need , all utilities are there as well as the basics to BBQ and to cook , very helpful … we got good recommendations from Scott … All together we as a family really loved to stay here, it made an unforgettable start of our holiday ! The kids loved the WIFI and the bath 🛀 with the view 😜
