The accommodation was in a fantastic location in the town, with parking included. The host was extraordinarily helpful and kind, and the home had so many beautiful details in every room that truly made our stay. We all really looked forward to coming back to the house in the evening, a testament to the cosy, spacious nature of the space. Overall, this house was the perfect base for our trip and we could not recommend it more highly!

Situated in Grizebeck and only 30 km from World of Beatrix Potter, 2 Malt Kiln Cottages features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The Muncaster Castle is within 37 km of the holiday home. The property is non-smoking and is set 34 km from Lake Windermere. The flat was very spacious and had a nice view of an old cottage across the road. Everything was clean with nice modern fixtures and appliances. Although the flat is right on the roadway, we had no road noise. Having off-street parking was a plus. We also liked having two full bathrooms. The kitchen had everything one would need for a short or long stay with a large refrigerator.

Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.

Excellent facilities, spotless really lovely comfortable furnishings.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the garden views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Flosh Cottage was an exceptional place to stay. Really easy to get to all the places we wanted to go, super comfortable and spotlessly clean. The cottage was kitted out with everything we needed and it was lovely to sit out in the back patio and have our dinner in the sunshine one evening. The beds and the sofa were fantastically comfortable so we enjoyed sitting down to a board game in the evening after out day out and slept really well ready for the following day's adventure. They provide blankets to cover the furniture with so that the dogs can cuddle with you on the sofa and you don't need to worry about keeping them off and the booklet of information provided on arrival had some great information about local places to eat and drink and things to do. The patio out the back was completely fenced in so we didn't need to worry about having the dogs on a lead when they went out to pee - the fence is a low-ish one so may not be completely secure for a bigger dog determined to get out bbut was perfect for our Yorkie and Shih-Tzu I was just sorry we were only staying 2 nights. I would definitely go back for a longer stay.

Love how much information they provided in regards to using items in the log cabin (such as fire) and the local area (walks, vets, hospital etc). Kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils to make decent meals so you don't need to worry about bringing everything from home like some self catering places. Nice, cosy and really clean. Ideal place for couples looking to get away, really quiet area and not too busy 🙂

Came to Windermere for one night for the start of a roadtrip with my partner. This accommodation made our time there really special. Lovely and clean home, with a modern interior impressed us when we walked in. Having the hot tub there was amazing really completed a perfect stay. Bed was super comfortable, I really have nothing bad to say about this stay. Loved every second of it, location was great aswell. Hosts were very easy to contact and were very polite. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Windermere!

Amazing location, it's in the prime location of Windermere and the walk is a stones throw. The property is immaculate, so clean and beautifully decorated.. then the hot tub is just a perfect addition. Will definitely be returning at some point 😍 The hosts are on hand to help if needed too with quick replies via text! X
