Amazing pool and located right on an awesome beach. We almost had the beach to ourselves. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We chose the bed and breakfast option which was great and we loved the idea that we were able to choose a different breakfast each morning from the menu which wasn't a buffet. We ate at the property every night but one. The seafood platter with lobster was incredible! Everything was very well priced. Would totally recommend a visit.

It was our pleasure to stay in this Villa also and also to meet such a great person like Shameera. Thank you for everything, you have done for us. The Dahlia Residence is set in Bentota and features a pool with a view and pool views. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. The staff was so friendly and uncle who worked there was so helpful he had to wait past midnight until we come after work but he was so keen in showing us to our rooms. The breakfast was also delicious. The property is located in a peaceful surrounding and loved staying there♥️

Looking right out onto the beach and the villa is so lovely and tropical modern in its design and aesthetic. There are two villas, one each side of a fabulous pool in the middle. The chef was amazing with incredible food and service, we were on full board which we highly recommend - once you arrive it’s very hard to leave. The caretaker, groundsmen and security were all fantastic. We would absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Hash and her mom were amazing as a host. They did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. During the stay I had a freak accident with my son and she went out of the way to help us and get the necessary treatment for my child. Breakfast was very good as well. They had even decorated the rooms with a personal touch.

This is just the place if you are looking for a beautiful simple accommodation that is directly in nature with ocean. Ramesh and his mother are helpful with everything and make you feel like you are part of their wonderful family. They help you organise your trip and show a full effort to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is amazing, you get a huge portion of fruit, tea coffee, eggs and toast with Sri Lankan rice & curry. The property is in a great location, close enough to the beach. You are surrounded by nature and can see monkeys, squirrels and birds. There are great cafes and restaurants in the area. The family is so lovely and hospitable that you can't help but extend it all the time. They invited us to join traditional family celebrations which allowed a unique insight into the culture. The price is more than justified and I will certainly return to Villa 826 ahungalla on my next stay.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. If you are looking for comfort and tranquility, this is a place not to be missed. You will stay on the first floor of a large and charming family house run by a Sri Lankan couple, 300m from the sea. There are only 2 rooms to rent, so no disturbance or nuisance from neighbors. The guest terrace overlooks the sea and the lush tropical garden. It is in the shade all morning and is equipped with large shutters for the sun. The rooms are sufficiently spacious and well appointed. Solid wood furniture, very good bedding, large bathroom, always hot water, air conditioning, fan and fridge. The hosts are very welcoming and charming and you will quickly feel at home. Breakfast is included in the price and is plentiful. It is also possible to order a la carte for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend it, it's delicious and convenient because there isn't much around. There are 2 restaurants on the beach, one of which was closed and the other one very expensive. Overall, the beach is practically deserted, which is part of its charm. On the main road you will find a kind of bakery, an ATM and two small shops. Once again, there isn't much in the area but it is possible to rent a scooter if you want to explore. I highly recommend this place for people who want peace and quiet, to be a little away from the tourist places while still having all the comfort. You can hardly find better I think and personally, I extended my stay and stayed 4 nights instead of 2. A place to discover and to remember. Thank you
