The hotel was a very nice surprise when we visited Japan. The shared bathroom was a unique experience, the traditional room was worth the visit and the hotel offered a very relaxing onsen. It is in a nice location (near bus stations, among trees), with very friendly and helpful staff.

Main Dining Room "The Fujiya" serves French cuisine in an elegant space. Restaurant Cascade offers Western dishes, while Kikka-so serves traditional Japanese kaiseki dinners. A bar, lounge and bakery are available. Beautiful, clean and comfortable! Great rooms and very friendly staff.

The nearest airport is Oshima Airport, 87 km from the ryokan. The onsen and the whole environment was so amazing and relaxing. Staff was very kind and really cared about everything, they even gave me a spotlight after the sun set when I walked to a nearby store. Breakfast (pastries) were served in the morning with tea/coffe, I didn't know that breakfast was included so it was a nice surprise.

The ryokan has a hot spring bath and full-day security. The staff was amazing and super accommodating. The private onsen was a great experience and really nice that your room gets an hour per day.

Boasting a hot tub, Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan is set in Hakone. The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 6.2 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the ryokan is soundproof and has a hot spring bath. It was located in a quiet and peaceful area. The room was very clean, and spacious. The onsen, though small, was comfortable and lovely. The hotel manager really helped by recommending an itinerary and provided us with a lot of useful information. He was also a lovely man to have a chat with. Very kind and considerate.

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. The property is set 3.5 km from Edo Tokyo Museum, 6 km from Marunouchi Building and 6 km from Yasukuni Shrine. Free WiFi is available. I can't even begin to describe it, I loved this place. It really holds a special place in my heart. This was my first ever vacation alone, and Tatsuo was amazing at easing me into the stay. I miss Japan badly, and I feel Tatsuo was a key contributor to making everyday great. The location was great with heaps of food nearby, the rooms were cosy, felt like a home away from home. The toilets and showers were very clean and so was the rest of the building in general. Would live there if I could, 10/10
